Revision Rhinoplasty

Revision rhinoplasty can fall into two groups. It can be refinement, a little bit more surgery because the surgeon and the patient still think a little bit improvement as possible, even if really good surgery was done the first time.

Revision Rhinoplasty is more difficult than the first surgery, and unpredictability is always there.

There’s also a secondary rhinoplasty and if the secondary rhinoplasty is done the first time that’s resulted in a bad outcome. It’s more difficult than the first surgery, and unpredictability is always there.

The tissues are scarred, there’s a poor material to work with, and the skin is not very elastic, so what the patients can achieve may be less in a secondary or revision rhinoplasty than in a primary rhinoplasty.
